Steps:

01.
Read the rules

Make sure your entry is eligible. All entries must be commercially published, launched or aired to a substantial audience for the first time between 12 September 2020 and 30 August 2021, and must be approved by the brand/client. Entries close 7 September 2021.

02.
Check the categories & fees

Enter your work in the correct category and check the entry fees.

Pendoring may move your entry to the appropriate category before judging commences, however, the jury is not allowed to do this once the process begins. The extended entry deadline is 7 September 2021. Entries received after the deadline will incur a 10% late fee. Value-added tax of 15% is payable and charged on entries.

03.
Entry preparation

Every category has its own preparation requirements. Check what’s required for your entry category and make sure you enter work in the correct format.

Nine Categories

Categories are only eligible for South African non-English languages. All entries must be at least 70% in either Afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa, isiNdebele, siSwati, Xitsonga, Tshivenda, Setswana, Sepedi or Sesotho.

All entries must come with an English translation.

Students may only enter in the student category. Where possible, student work should be submitted by the school/college/university, rather than directly by the student.

All categories are single entries unless otherwise stated. If in the opinion of the jury, several pieces constitute a campaign, then these entries will be combined into one campaign award.

Please check the ‘Preparation Guidelines’ for each category for detailed information on what formats to use when submitting your entries.
